A case for capsules and softgels. EN AW-6060 T6 rectangular tube outside, a printed tray with two pockets of 14.1 cm³ each inside. A press on the key at the back opens it, magnets hold it in four positions.

Mechanism
Top view, cover cut away. A press on the key at the back moves the tray to the park position at 4.3 mm. From there you pull it to stage 1 or stage 2.

Manufacturing
Batch 001 is made without a mould. That is the reason for the quantity and the reason for the price.
The housing is EN AW-6060 T6 rectangular tube, 40 × 20 × 2 mm, sawn to 80 mm by a supplier, with a 45° end chamfer, E6/EV1 anodised and boehmite-sealed.
I print the inner parts myself in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, using FDM, without support structures. The capsule tray and divider are igus iglidur I150, a bearing polymer that runs in aluminium without grease. Chassis, side rails and front cap are matte PETG. Print layers are visible if you look closely.
Each unit is assembled, checked for pull force and numbered, 001–060.

Who makes it
I was done carrying a pill box.
I'm David Alexander Furtwängler. My supplements came with me every day, in a plastic box that rattled and looked like a pharmacy.
I designed Model 01 in Fusion. I print the inner parts in Baden-Württemberg and assemble and check every unit myself.

Questions
How much does it hold?
Two pockets of 14.1 cm³ each. Stage 1 opens the front pocket, stage 2 both.
What is metal and what is printed?
The housing is aluminium. The capsule tray and end piece are printed using FDM, in igus iglidur I150 and PETG. Print layers on the inner parts are visible if you look closely.
Is Model 01 airtight?
No. There is 0.25 mm of clearance per side between tray and tube. That is fine for capsules and softgels, not for powders or liquids.
How do I clean it?
Pull out the slide and wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Not dishwasher safe.
Can I keep medication in it?
Only medication that does not need child-resistant storage. Model 01 is not child resistant.
When does it ship?
Model 01 is made and assembled after you order, which takes 3–4 weeks. Your numbered unit then ships with DHL and tracking.
Do you ship outside Germany?
Yes. The countries available and the shipping cost are shown at checkout before you pay. Outside the EU, customs duty and import VAT may apply; these are paid by you.
Can I return it?
